Riding Mountain Manor
Riding Mountain Manor is an elegant heritage log building located on the shores of Clear Lake. It was built in the 1930s and served for many years as the park superintendent’s residence. Visiting dignitaries included King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II. Completely renovated with new furnishings, this is a magical location for a two- or three-night getaway. You can walk out the door and go for a round of Golf on Clear Lake Golf Course, or explore Clear Lake itself – you are literally a stone’s throw away! The secluded setting makes it the perfect getaway retreat, or it can serve as your well-appointed “home base” for exploring the Riding Mountain region. Now, you are able to share this important part of our Canadian heritage that only a select few were able to enjoy in the past. Value season rates apply in winter.
The Farm Cottage Guesthouse
The Farm Cottage is an early 1930’s farm house located near beautiful Kelwood Manitoba at the foot of the Riding Moutain National Park. The Farm Cottage offers access to Frenchs Farm – a family farm that produces grass fed Black Angus and Hereford Cattle along with Rare Breed Hereford Pigs. The area offers excellent hiking, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing trails, or bring your own horse and enjoy the trails on horse back.
